Survey

This is a voluntary survey unaffiliated with any organizations or programs.

I am inviting you to take this survey as an individual interested in genetic counseling and compiling resources as a fellow applicant. There are no negative consequences if you do not want to take the survey. If you start the survey, you can change your mind and stop the survey at any time. To take this survey, you must be at least 18 years old.

As a first-generation student, I want to make information about graduate school more readily accessible. As a fellow applicant, I am interested in where others are in their graduate school journey; I am also interested in what resources could help facilitate that journey.

This survey will ask you questions about your introduction to genetic counseling, your personal application process, and potential future resources. Based on the results of the survey, I may try to put together additional resources for people interested in pursuing genetic counseling.

Some questions may be personal. You can skip them or quit the survey at any time. You may choose to disclose your name and contact information for access to future workshop and networking resources. Any time information is shared online, there is a risk of data being hacked or intercepted. A secure system is collecting this data to minimize this risk. Data will also be collected anonymously and stored on a secure database indefinitely.

Completing this survey could lead to workshop and networking opportunities. This survey will take 10 minutes without cost to the participant. There is no compensation for completing this survey, it is completely voluntary.

There are no conflicts of interest to disclose.

Questions, concerns, or complaints about the survey can be directed to gcgradprograminfo@gmail.com.
